Do you have what it takes to be the best university golfer in the UK this academic year? Compete in the BUCS Golf Tour to find out!
The BUCS Golf Tour consists of nine scratch stroke play events at some of the finest golf courses across the UK. Each event is 54 holes and played over three days. Events take place in September and October, and resume in March and April.
Points are awarded at each event for the overall Macpherson Order of Merit leaderboards. Golfers who, at the end of the nine stroke play events, are within the top 50 men or top 15 women are invited to compete in the BUCS Golf Tour Finals. The BUCS Golf Tour Finals is where the Macpherson Order of Merit standings are finalised, and provides the best golfers with a chance to be crowned the UK university golfing champion!
A number of BUCS Golf Tour events are WAGR™ counting events. For more information visit each event on the BUCS Golf Tour webpage.
BUCS Golf Tour events are open to students studying at affiliated institutions in the UK. Men with a handicap of 5 or lower, and women with a handicap of 12 or lower, are eligible to enter.
Eligible entries into all BUCS Golf Tour events are administered by a competitor’s athletic union or students’ union through BUCScore. It is the responsibility of the athletic union or students’ union to manage their entries. Competitors must liaise with their institution for entry queries.
